New Puppies!

Trent went to live on Stormy Walker's farm - he needed room to run and we just do not have enough space for him. So he's staying with Stormy and we've got three of her most precious puppies ever!
Petey Pie (I'll just let you guess which one he is) is the sweetest little baby ever!
And the little bitty ones are just well, little bitty.
They have not been fixed yet (too young) but they will and are up-to-date on their shots and de-wormer. If you're interested in them please let me know.
Stormy is like me - whatever it takes to find these babies good homes...

Memories...The moment that started it all...

This is a picture of the first time we saw Haleigh Anne.
We were at The Walk for Gage in Horn Lake, Mississippi.
Memphis Pit Bull Safe Haven had brought her and her litter mates, but they were not adoptable yet.
I remember thinking how beautiful she was, but it was not until we got home that we realized we had to have her.
By the graces of God I was able to track her down and the day I found her I filled out the application for her.
Her litter mates had Parvo real bad - Haleigh was the only one who did not get sick - but we had to wait two weeks after we were approved for her adoption to pick her up.

Now anyone adopting a dog from a rescue, especially a pit bull, knows how rigorous the adoption process is. 5 page application, reference checks, home visits... the whole enchilata.
But it was so worth it; she is our angel baby love child and it is in her horor that we are starting our rescue.

This was the moment that started it all...

Daddy's Girl Makes Pitter Patter Again! Yay!!

My Happy Pibble Family Goes to Pibble Rescue

Joey and I have been insepearble from the time we met.
I knew from our second date being "Clean Water Day" at Old Hickory Dam I had met a good man and was keeping him.

3 months after Joey and I started dating we adopted our "love child" Haleigh Anne from Memphis Pit Bull Safe Haven.
Haleigh was 12 weeks old when we brought her home and she was truly a baby. She was caudled and cuddled and truly loved to pieces by us. Over the past year and a half Haleigh has grown into a beautiful girl and she is totally a daddy's girl.

Then last summer I got an e-mail about little Greighson Andrew who was dumped in a ditch and rescued by East Mississippi Animal Rescue. "Gracy Gray" as I call him was in need of a forever home and when I saw his little face I had to bring him home. Gracy is a total boy and keeps us very entertained at all times.

And this past winter we took in Abbey and LuLu who were left out in the cold and probably would have froze to death if they had not been found.

Joey is the absolute best doggie daddy in the entire world and this week he wins the Best Woggie Daddy Awardie as he has agreed to let me start our own Pit Bull Rescue!

I'm so excited!! We work closely with a lot of rescue groups and are volunteering for something almost every weekend. We have a lot of great contacts and friends in rescue and I'm so thrilled!

I so have the best husband and woggie daddy in the entire world!!
