Christmas is 2 pounds. He was found in the freezing cold and we honestly thought he was dead when we found him. He was obviously the runt and half the size of his litter-mates. But he was breathing. Amazingly. We took him home, warmed him up and dropper-fed him pediatlite and mother's milk. He made it through the night and is an absolute little miracle. He had his first vet appointment yesterday and other than possibly being blind in his left eye he is healthy.
And his big sister Haleigh just loves him to pieces...

ReplyDeleteHaleigh Anne is very, very spoiled and it has truly warmed my heart to see her so loving to him. I thought she would just snub him, but she has taken him in as her own and I'm just so very proud of her.
